Borley Church Essex - Rubbings of Font Motifs

I have had this old tube of “Borley Church Essex - Rubbings of Font Motifs” knocking around for some years, no clues of who or when they were done but they look fairly old - possibly 1950’s?

I thought I’d add it here just in case it is of interest to anyone. Does anyone still go and do brass rubbings? It is something we would do on school trips back in the 1980’s and it was popular for some time before that but it has made me wonder if anyone still does this activity nowadays.
