Christmas in the Balkans Officers Mess 2nd Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry Xmas Menu 1917.
This is a hand drawn and painted Christmas Menu from the First World War. It belonged to Cambridge born Harry Edward Hogg (1879-1943) who lived at 50 Brookfields Cambridge with his family. Before the war he was working as a pastry cook at Pembroke College Cambridge and when he had came home from the war he went back to work as a chef at the college.
