Manor of Hinton Netherhall in the County Cambridge I William Angier Blinkhorn formally of the Borough of Cambridge College Baker but now of Ferry Path in the County of Cambridge Gentleman do hereby acknowledge to have received of and from Mary Ann Smith and William Archer of Cherry Hinton in the County of Cambridge Executors named in and under the will of Sarah Layton of Cherry Hinton aforesaid widow all principle and intended monies due and owing to me upon or by virtue of a conditional surrender made and executed by Edward Grange the Elder of Cherry Hinton aforesaid yeoman a customary tenant of the said Manor of certain customary tenant of the said Manor of certain customary or copyhold hereditaments lying within and holden of the said Manor and bearing date the thirteenth day of July One thousand eight hundred and forty seven and I do hereby direct and require the steward of the said Manor to enter satisfaction thereof on the Court Rolls of the same Manor and for so doing this shall be his sufficient warrant and satisfaction Dated this tweet ninth day of August 1879
