The Cambridge Bumps - rowing competitions on the River Cam.
The May Bumps began in 1887 after separating from the Lent Bumps (held at the end of February/start of March) Before that there was a single set of annual bumps which began in 1827.
The May Bumps race take place over four days, Wednesday - Saturday, in mid June.
The races are open to all college boat clubs from the University of Cambridge.
