Guided walk through the fascinating history of the Richmond Road and Histon Road area, Cambridge

Discover Your Neighbourhood’s Hidden Stories!
Join local historian Michelle Bullivant on a free guided walk through the fascinating history of the Richmond Road area as part of the Open Cambridge Festival. We'll meet at St Augustine’s Church and Community Centre (101 Richmond Rd) on Sunday 21 September, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Expect to uncover hidden Victorian architectural gems, poignant local stories, and community memories around Richmond Road, Oxford Road, and Histon Road Recreation Ground. It’s on flat, paved ground and refreshments will be ready at the end!

This event is part of a creative engagement tied to the Murketts/Histon Road development, and you’re warmly invited to bring your own photos or local memories to share.
